On January 17, New Jersey lawmakers agreed to hike minimum wage incrementally to $15 per hour by 2024. New Jersey’s minimum wage is currently $8.85 per hour, well above the federally required rate of $7.25 per hour. Read more about the new law in this New York Times article.
